I do a lot, and have done a lot. Here's a few things that I'm up to.

Chasing The Solstice
October 2nd - November 1st, 3rd Street Gallery
Chasing the Solstice is a celebration of the ever-changing rhythm of nature and the quiet beauty found in the passing of time. Through watercolor, I explore the four seasons not simply as a sequence of weather and color, but as four distinct moods—each with its own atmosphere, energy, and sense of place.
The title Chasing the Solstice reflects my fascination with the movement of light throughout the year. Each painting is an attempt to hold onto a particular moment—the golden light filtering through trees, the reflection of a winter sky in still water, the brilliant colors of autumn, or the fresh awakening of spring. These moments are temporary, yet watercolor gives me a way to preserve their feeling and memory.
My work is rooted in observation and a love of landscape, but I am equally interested in the emotional experience of a place. I want these paintings to invite the viewer to pause, look closely, and perhaps recall a season, landscape, or moment of their own.
With Chasing the Solstice, I invite you to journey through the year with me—to follow the changing light, color, and atmosphere of the seasons and discover the beauty that exists in each transition.
